Council Meetings Council 4324 is located in the Church of the Ascension in Johnstown, Ohio. Our council meetings are held at 7:00 pm every 2nd and 4th Wednesday in Rooms 3A & 3B of the Church.About Our Council The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.7 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people. Ascension Council 4324 was founded in 1957. It began in a Holy Name Society meeting when a visiting priest suggested that the Church form a Knights of Columbus council. The charter members went to Newark and received their first, second and third degrees - all in the same day. Since then our council has grown to 80 members.
